Beginning the ministry was a tough journey but for someone who has undoubtedly heard from the leading of the Holy Spirit, there isn’t sitting back but to move forward.

“When the time came for me to plant a church, I did not know that it would happen that year. I was planning on my trip to Italy, Germany, and Poland and had the invitations ready on the table. Then God stepped in and spoke to me to begin a church in Jinja. As I was attending a lunch hour fellowship in the US, a visiting lady preacher from the USA handed me a prophetic pamphlet pointed at me in the middle of the crowd and said, “It’s time to walk on water”, I had preached about walking on water before but it did not want it to be me to walk on this ministry water.

I had to cancel all the prior engagements to start the church. I struggled over this inside with God because I did not want to start a church considering I did not have money to do that, I felt dead and hopless that whole week. Though I was prayerful and a full-time minister, when the time came for me to start the church I felt empty. I looked at a lot of hindrances and felt I wasn’t fit for the call but after a week I said yes to the call and from that moment peace came over me.
