This Sunday 18th of May 2025 was a truly special day at our church, JCC. We had two meaningful services, each bringing its own message from God’s Word to encourage and challenge us in our walk with Him.

In the first service , Pastor Patrick shared a beautiful message from Psalm 103 . He reminded us that we have many reasons to bless the Lord. Psalm 103 is full of praise for everything God has done for us—He forgives our sins, heals our diseases, loves us with mercy, and gives us new life.
Pastor encouraged us not to forget all the good things God has done in our lives. When we remember His blessings, it fills our hearts with joy and gratitude. It’s easy to get caught up in our daily problems, but this passage reminds us to lift our eyes to God and say, “Thank you, Lord!”

Then, in the second service , Pastor Patrick continued with another powerful message, this time from Numbers 11 . In this chapter, we read about how the Israelites complained against God after He had delivered them from slavery in Egypt. Instead of being thankful for His miracles and provision, they grumbled about their food and longed for the past. Pastor shared clearly that grumbling displeases God . It shows that we don’t trust Him or appreciate what He has done. In fact, Numbers 11 ends with God becoming angry because of their complaints.

Pastor reminded us that complaining can become a habit if we’re not careful. But as God’s children, we are called to trust Him and be grateful—even when things aren’t perfect. Grumbling pushes God away, but gratitude draws Him near.
From Psalm 103 , we learned:
➡️ We should bless the Lord every day.
➡️ Remember His goodness and thank Him for His love and mercy.
From Numbers 11 , we were challenged:
➡️ Stop grumbling—it hurts your relationship with God.
➡️ Choose gratitude, even in hard times.
Let’s ask God to help us grow in thankfulness and keep our hearts focused on Him. Whether we’re praising Him in worship or going through difficult moments, may our lives be filled with blessing and gratitude to our wonderful God!
We invite you to join us next Sunday and experience more of God’s presence and truth through His Word. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
